smith
I was in Canada on this day thirty years ago. I was absolutely shocked and distraught when I heard the news as I'd always believed I'd marry Elvis one day and that was as near as I got (well I was very(ish) young at the time! Suspicious Minds please. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1252-30-years-since-elvis-died/#findComment-33513 Share on other sites

Alan Dale
...That was Nena reminding us of the fragility of the stand-off during the cold war. Not sure what Elvis would have made of that. This is UB40 with I can't help falling in love with you from my favourite film and forerunner to Channel 4's Big Brother, Sliver.. Jah Lush
Hey Alan, well done...you're playing some right crap for the old folks today. But as a man who worships at the Presleytarian Church of Elvis The Divine may I suggest you play Kirsty McCall's There's A Guy Works Down The Chipshop Swears He's Elvis, followed by some great stuff from The Pelvis himself like - Marie's The Name, His Latest Flame or Heartbreak Hotel and Always On My Mind. It'll be a good tonic for oldies. Cheers! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1252-30-years-since-elvis-died/#findComment-33574 Share on other sites
