What do you make of these not entirely accurate stats? There's f all to talk about unless you have a baby or you want something or want to sell something?

Imelda Marcos had 1000's of shoes She donated 800 pairs to The Philippines museum

In the mid-1990s she was convicted of graft in a separate corruption case and sentenced to a minimum 12 years imprisonment.

BUT was she happy. ??

Or what...

Yes they can

Especially if you add a large measure of fizz like "my freind" did

"Ohhhh what pretty shoes" the girl opposite cooed

"Can I see & where did you get them" she added

The birthday girl slipped one off & passed it over the table

"Harrods...?400...ohhh I love them" she cooed back

Now as the shoe was on it's way back " my freind " took the shoe & filled it full of L&P rose until it sloshes out everywhere

"To the birthday girl" I ....I mean HE toasted

Later he was found upside down ,half in the car and half on the grass verge, fast asleep

You know she still remembers that moment to this day nearly 15 years later

Oh how we laughed ( at my freind )

Shoes eh, I'll drink to that

    • Loki hasn’t been seen since Sunday. He’s all grey but if you look closely he has faint stripes on the top of his tail. No pedigree, just very much loved. About 4 years old. No collar, but chipped.  please keep an eye out for him. We live on Barry Road SE22
    • I went in here the other day. The fruit is all really good - ripe and fresh. They also sell good bread (and croissants and pastries) from a independent bakery, the name of which I've forgotten. 🤦 The prices (which are marked) are not cheap but they are fair imo. Comparable to the specialist fruit shop on Lordship Lane (Brothers?) for really good quality. It's similar prices to Simply Fresh - but Simply Fresh's fruit and veg is very poor. Beaten about and tasteless. Sainsbury's is certainly cheaper. IMVHO they're a good addition to the Dulwich Village "retail offer".
    • Went actually for the first time yesterday. Terrific food, so was well pleased. Agree with previous poster to support.
    • Hi!! Moving house soon so looking for some cardboard boxes. Anyone know of any shops or cafes that may be giving some away?
