Fuschia
On LLI witnessed this at 10am this morning, the damaged car was WP05 EPD, a white SIXT hire van VR10 VYY hit the front driver side as it was trying to park (the van driver was chatting on his mobile)A slim fair haired guy.PM me if you need a witness.Other people, anything more I should do? There was no point me putting a note on the damaged car as if the driver didn't intend to deal with it himself, he was parked right by and probably would have taken the note off. sophiesofa
I guess a call or email to Sixt wouldn't hurt, or maybe even letting the police know in-case that helps the van owners insurance case or something. Well done for getting the details etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12816-blue-toyota-damaged-by-hire-van-outside-the-carpet-shop/#findComment-352871 Share on other sites
first mate
Definitely report to police and give all details. The blue van driver, if he was holding a mobile and chatting on it whilst trying to park, has committed an offence. first mate
Hands up, it was me wot erroneously relayed the van colour- clearly eyes, brain or both need testing. Anyhow, hope they get the WHITE van driver. Fuschia
Dorothy Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Did you see the driver of the Sixt van drive off> and abandon the scene? No, he parked and sat in his van for a while, got out and examined the damage then went across LL. I'm not saying he didn't leave a note for the car's owner on his return, only in case he didn't, I have his details anyway.
