As well as forgetting to pay the charge, did you also enter the congestion zone? If not, then you should be ok.

Like Mick said, I was very lucky one Tuesday when I didn't enter the zone. I'd completely forgotten to pay the charge. It's strange because on the same day I forgot to buy a plane ticket to Miami, and missed the flight. They say these things come in three's so I'm dreading a letter landing on my doorstep with some fine or other. It will be the other one I forgot. What's worse is I've no idea how much it will be.
