I work at the top of the Citigroup building in Canary Wharf - we frequently get enveloped by low cloud, and it's horrible! The other day the NW was a thick wall of grey, but the SE had thick dark grey fingers of cloud much lower than we were - probably the day you took this.

Quite often, the precipitation from minor localised showers is also lower than we are.

Literally a stone's throw!

How I would LOVE to be allowed to go up to the top floors of those buildings.

So if any of you know how I could be allowed, let me know!

I've been up quite a few tall buildings in London including the two tethered balloons at Vauxhall and Tower Bridge several years ago. That was fun!

    • The empty shelves is well reported, but the sewage smell has been awful for weeks if not months, and just keeps getting worse. It started off near the Costa machine/ behind the delivery and collections booth thing, but now it hits you the second you walk in the store. I’m amazed nothing (visibly at least) appears to be going on to fix it. Somewhat relieved it’s not just me who can smell it!
