NO! NO! and NO! Christ I can see this thread turning into...Ladymuck racist LOL...

I was joking about the fact that I am half French with the brain the size of a pea...oh never mind...

I shall stop being silly now - in itself proof of humanness.

Too late...I can see the headlines of 'Le Monde' as I write this.......

'Roast Beef Claims That French Are Animal!'

French President Sarkozy is furious after a little know piece of Muck from a small poor province of Dulwich made the claim that 'frogs' are not human - citing a half French heritage as proof that the French only have brains the size of a pea! Mr Cameron acknowledged that an international crisis was looming as France threatened to close the chunnel and stop the export to Britain of cheese, wine, champagne and basically all the stuff we are no good at making for ourselves. French unions have called for the blockade and surrender of the UK to French rule. The East Sussex based historical re-enactment society were thrilled at the news and commented 'It's just like in the good ole days init.'

See where careless talk leads LM?.....>:D<

    • So let's never do anything that might improve an area, because it will just be dragged down to the level of what's presently there? Is that what you are saying? I don't have the time or the inclination to do the research, but I'm pretty sure that I have read  that when people who had lived in a very run down area  were given  nice surroundings, they appreciated and looked after them.

    • No, it's the AA. https://www.nationalworld.com/arts-and-culture/these-are-the-uks-best-outdoor-pools-and-lidos-new-lido-league-reveals-top-swimming-spots-5218853  "Experts from The AA analysed 164 lidos and outdoor pools for the average monthly Google search volumes, average Google review scores, Instagram tags, entry and parking fees, as well as the average maximum temperature and hours of summer sunlight at each location, to determine the very best swimming spots across the UK."
