There's a few of us having a kick around on Peckham Rye tomorrow morning (Saturday) at aboout 10:30 (as long as it doesn't get washed out. If anyone fancies joining us please do, it's a friendly kick about so if you want to shake off some cobwebs and want some outdoor excercise come along. We'll be the one's huffing and puffing near the rugby posts.

Then meet up agin later to go watch Dulwich Hamlet play (see this post)

Mark

Is this kick about a regular thing? I couldn't make the last one as I had to go to Cheltenham to watch Gillingham play. But since we're playing on Friday this week, thanks to Sky, I'll be free this Saturday for a knock about. I could do with brushing the cob-webs off.

    • It was a reactionary post and inappropriate when talking about a real case and a real person who was harmed.  London streets are generally pretty safe.  Sadly violent crime happens from time to time, as it always has.
    • Do tell, CPR Dave, what the spiteful jealous stuff is - I'm intrigued.  Agree - Burnham is a top class communicator (polar opposite of Starmer) he'd do a great job of uniting the party. I still think Wes Streeting has the edge, though I'm sure he has more enemies as well.
    • This is a huge part of the problem.   Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country.    There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.
    • I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00,  apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car!  Wtf!   Anyone heard anything else?
