I saw a man who was in some pain sitting on the floor in a supermarker car park today so I asked him if was ok and if he needed help. He said he was in a lot of pain so I asked what sort of pain. He told me he was suffering from anal fissures and had been told by his doctor to just sit down and relax when the pain got bad. A bit too much information I thought so I acknowledged this and quickly hurried on my way, not helping him at all. :(

I always like to perform one good deed or random act of kindness a day so I'm up for suggestions for one, preferably not involving anything gross.

My good deed for the day was done unto me, rather than my being the doer.

EDKiwi is a freaking legend and has restored something to me that I thought was lost forever. I'm not going to say what so that everyone doesn't start tapping him up for favours, but the man is a samaritan, a saint, an angel...

I don't think i've met anyone with anal fisures before.

Someone did me a huge favour yesterday to tell me my pants were showing. Somehow when I'd got off the tube my bag strap had got caught had hitched up my skirt and not until 7 mins later of walking to work did anyone let me know. I think I need to stop wearing dresses or skirts because I've had quite a few wardrobe malfunctions recently.

Quite a few people told me my pants were showing recently...I was wearing jeans...and had split them...there was nothing I could do...other than walk with my head held high as though I couldn't give a fuck...

Oh no - i take it you didn't have a handy jumper to tie round your waist? Were they good pants? No outfit is ever safe from a wardrobe malfunction so maybe i'll just invest in some good pants ready for the inevitable accidental flashing..

Nope - it was during the mini heatwave.

Nope. At least I was wearing them...a few degrees hotter and I might not have bothered!

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
