RosieH
ahh, lovely DM, it is only right and proper that one of your status should be familiar with the kebanape (best served with a thimbleful of Turkish fizz), but not the vile terror that is the bedbug: keep it that way! Narnia
I don't think this problem is only a bedlinen one as I've noticed the same on the collar of a white shirt and a white top. Maybe its rust? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13091-lilltle-orange-marks-on-my-bedlinen/#findComment-357806 Share on other sites
Bellenden Belle
I had this problem and found a replaced washing machine was the solution. It wasn't just on white clothes either - I found black dresses were ruined by the same marks. DJKillaQueen
Sounds to me as though it could be the bearings in your washing machine rusting, which is a problem because water shouldn't get into them at all. The seal may have gone. Get someone to look at it or you'll face having to have new bearings which has to be the most time consuming job in repairing a washing machine (it requires a complete dismantle of the drum and yes I have done it more times than I care to remember). Moos
Definitely the washing machine - may just be the drum seal that needs replacing. The rubber goes eventually and it starts to look a bit slimy (grim). This process can be slowed next time if you usually leave your washing machine door open so that the inside dries more quickly. computedshorty
Do you mix several washing powders and softeners?. An amount of these tend to stay in the loading drawer a film stays there although most powders do mix some do not, they just wrap up a particle and it does not disolve. There is a warning on most boxes not to mix a stain remover as well.My problem has been for years put a pair of socks in and only one comes out.So if you see a zimmerman wearing one blue and one red sock its me.
