*Bob*
One of my 'early girlfriends' dumped me - on the grounds that she wanted to go out with someone who looked more like the lead singer from Echo & The Bunnymen. It seemed like poor reasoning at the time, but - thinking back - it was near-genuis. I had no comeback. Has anyone else been dumped, or dumped anyone under vaguely amusing circumstances? Jah Lush
None that I can think of but I do know someone that actually went out with Ian McCullough (lead singer of Echo & The Bunnymen). Bellenden Belle
I once gave someone "negative chi", He made our finishing sound as if it was a sacrifice on behalf of his yoga group as he felt he was carrying the negative energy with him into his class. katie1997
I should have dumped my first proper boyfriend on the grounds that he looked like a cross between andrew eldrich (sp?) from that dodgy goth band, 'the sisters of mercy' and Bono (in the 80s), from that very famous irish band. I should have dumped my second boyfriend on the grounds that he looked like michael portillo (according to my mum). :-$Edited : for TMI :-S Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13137-youre-dumped/#findComment-358637 Share on other sites
RosieH
I have dumped someone on the grounds of not enough sex (not so unusual) but he rather stole my thunder the following month when he came out and moved to Brighton.I would have gone out with Ian McCulloch (on the basis that Morrissey and I never made it up the aisle), except you know, I was at school at the time. I don't half envy her, Jah. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13137-youre-dumped/#findComment-358639 Share on other sites

Twirly
I've had a couple..."We get on really well, and I think you're really attractive, and that's why I can't go out with you..." Eh??? I thought that was the entire point (?)"You're allergic to things and drink strange tea" - 10 years later he declared his undying love. I didn't take him up on it... MrBen
I still remember the second one. Her name was Miranda and she had wonky big toes you could hold onto when required. dita-on-tees
I am not sure I even classify this as being dumped but I got a text from a fella I went on 2 dates with"whenever i feel a girl really likes me I get scared and run away"my reply"does it help if you know I think you're a bit of a knob with hobbit feet"I never heard from him again. sighhhhhh. Brendan
I can't honestly remember. The whole business left me a bit perplexed and to this day I have not been brave enough to try to clear up how the misunderstanding happened. *Bob*
Did you say you'd call - and then you didn't? Followed by her accidentally catching you down the pub doing an impression of her 'sex face' in front of your friends?
