Dan Mangan was quite exceptional at Bush Hall last night. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a gig so much. And of course a little audience participation always goes down a treat.

Playing Sunday at the Camden Crawl if anyone fancies a slice of awesome songwriting, killer guitars, beautiful lyrics and a most excellent horn. Don't know if the mighty Zeus are supporting on Sunday too but they are definitely worth checking out too.

Here I am again. It's Meltdown. Antony Hegarty's Meltdown at the South Bank. To say that Antony has lined up some pretty weired stuff is an understatement (although not a surprise). I've just spent the last 15 minutes listening to Diamanda Galas on You Tube and I'm literally terrified. But that's the joy of Meltdown.

Somehow Antony has managed to coax Elizabeth Fraser out of self-imposed retirement for two nights. That's a bit WOW. This is the lady who turned down Coachella for ?1.5 million because she just wasn't feeling it. Needless to say that tickets are flying out so if you want to be there then I wouldn't hang about. I think public booking is on Friday and Elizabeth will sell out lightening fast. Members' booking opened on Wednesday.

To be clear, I don't think she has any plans to do more gigs, she's likely just doing Meltdown then disappearing again for another 20 years. So go see her. What's to think about?

This takes my breath away

Here's Antony chanelling Beyonce.

Now I'm crying.

And humble.

She's not sold out yet Titch. Go have another look. The website crashed yesterday and all sorts of crazy things happen to the SBC's website when they put Meltdown on sale. But go and have another look now - there are seats. All the front stalls have gone but you can still get side stalls.

Sorry I got my days muddled up - that always happens to me in a bank holiday week.

So, to be clear, members' booking opened yesterday (Tuesday) and public booking opens tomorrow (Thursday). Both Liz Fraser nights are well sold already just to members, but there are tickets still available. So you can go online now and buy a membership and get tickets, or you can wait until public booking tomorrow and buy without paying the extra ?45 for membership.

Who knows what will happen tomorrow ? they might have held good seats back for the public on-sale, they might add another date(s), Ticketmaster or Seetickets might get an allocation. The only guarantee tomorrow is that the remaining tickets for the two dates (6th and 7th August) are going to sell out in a matter of minutes.

If you decide to go online now I think (but I?m not certain) that you can view the seats online once you?ve put a membership package in your shopping basket. The front stalls have gone (but they may have held some back for tomorrow). There are seats in side stalls, rear stalls and terrace available. The side stalls are the best option. You can always phone them ? the box office staff are very helpful.

    • Hi Annalisa,  I adopted few dogs from AARR Rescue - All Animals Rescue and Rehome.  It is a very small rescue run by fantastic woman Sarah.  Their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/allanimalsrescueandrehome/?locale=en_GB I highly recommend making an enquiry with them.
    • Virgin media seems to be down or is it just us? Wondering if due to high local demand due to park events?
    • I once had some very grumpy buyers, I'd moved heaven and earth and compromised a little on price, was tempted just to tell them where to go and put it back on the market - I wanted to get rid but could hang on longer.  I bit my lip, and they sent me a very stroppy email which I deleted without reading. Ideally we'd get on with our buyers and sellers, always try to meet them, and you can often sort out issues directly.  Estate agents tend to not like you have the other parties details. I've generally had more problems with the ones I've not met. It can be stressful for both sides.  You often get an inkling whey you know that they may be awkward, and that includes going the other way with a last second increase in price when markets are moving upwards.  Again, bad karma!
    • Lukasz was excellent: good rate, good work. Highly recommend.
