That Place. You Know. Top Of Lordship Lane

I live up that way and have been dying to know for years but little in the way of hard and fast evidence at the moment it seems (sadly)

I was gutted one day when I left my 1959 Austin in bits and went there for some parts only to find it had gone!! One of the reasons I got a garage up that end of the lane...

Hopefully will be a motorists superstore.....but i doubt it :-(

Personally, I prefer smaller sized Falafel, for more crunch and lightness. And I found overall, everything lacking a bit of punch. More Chilli and Garlic, and pickles please! Maybe that’s just what I’m accustomed to.  Highly recommend the falafel on Northcross Road market - amazing value, really excellent falafel, and you can really taste the care that goes into the homemade fresh pickles, sauces & salads.  Having travelled extensively in the middle east & I find it a close match to the many falafel stands I have tried.
