A lot of factors can influence a baby's sleep. Trying making your baby's sleeping spot more cosy. Researches have shown that doing a quick spa treatment can help your baby sleep better. Give your child a 15 minute massage using slow strokes, moderate pressure and a baby safe oil. I had a lot of trouble getting my son to go to sleep I finaaly had to get from a newborn sleep training consultant http://www.newmummycompany.ca/services/sleep-training/ . He sleeps better now. Some nights he sleeps for 12 hours.

I found Nicola Watseon on this site at http://www.childsleepsolutions.co.uk/

I had a 90 minute phone consultation about my one year old son (at the time). It was honestly the best money I've Speer spent and wish I had done it sooner. would thoroughly recommend.

Nicola Watson, best money I ever spent and changed my life!! My first didn't sleep for two years (I didn't call her), my second was the same and at 6.5m I was on my knees with him waking every 40 minutes, she gave me a plan and on the 4th night he slept through and has ever since (3 years old next month), honestly cannot recommend her enough.

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
