Every few days after work, when I reach my doorstep, a friendly cat brushes beside me. It is the friendliest Cat I've ever met. It has a Beige/Brown coloured fur and is so.. cute.

This morning. I was just off my way to work when I saw a dead cat in the middle of the pavement. I think it was the cat that always greeted me. I was very sad to see it lying there. It seemed it was brutally attacked. Not sure if it was a Fox. It felt weird walking home in the dark, on this street.

Though I don't know who owns the cat, I feel a genuine lost and sad to see it go.

We are talking about someone's much loved pet here. Someone who will be worried sick wondering where their cat is.

Personally I would have bagged it and taken it to a local vet. They would check for a chip and then freeze the body until the owner decided what they wanted to do. If there were no chip then all vets use a general cremation service for disposal of animals respectfully.
