Foxtons windows, does it have planning permission

Recommended Posts

What's the problem? Is it Foxtons or the glass?

Two points:

1. DD states Foxtons have planning permission.

2. An expanse of glass with views of a tidy and calm interior (that's what their sites look like elsewhere) is a huge improvement on the brick and concrete monstrosity that was there before.

I can only endorse Marmora Man's view

Foxton's themselves have been discussed to death on here and I'm not especially chuffed. But I can hardly believe anyone would want to retain that old building in any shape or form. The Foxtons on Essex Rd for example is a pretty sleek number

I have a hunch that Foxtons Inc would probably have applied for the correct permissions before spending tens and tens (and tens) of thousands on the work. So perhaps it time to live with it instead of desperately hoping they've infringed some minor article in the small print.

Just pretend they make organic jam in there rather than selling houses. A large spectacular glass-fronted organic jam shop.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
