Keef someone on here (sorry can't remember who it was now) did a great little spreadsheet of what was on when, but Mondays do seem to be a real black whole for activities,

We're in Nunhead and the library here has toys and singing on a Monday morning, but I still hunting for Monday afternoon activities! Please report back if you find anything.

Hi guys,

I run drop in music classes in East Dulwich that meet Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays from 3:30-4:30 pm and Saturdays from 10:30-11:30 am at the Family Natural Health centre above Soup Dragon at 106 Lordship Lane, East Dulwich. Up until a couple weeks ago we were also meeting on Monday afternoons but after 6 weeks of only one or two people in class on the Monday at 2:30, I've had to cancel it! Please do let me know if you think there's a need for a Monday time and we could try to start it back up again or else try a late morning class instead as I have a feeling the 2:30 time slot was a bit early in the afternoon for people with nap times!

Also, Apenn made the spread sheet of the activity schedule, if you search for her name with Activity Schedule you should be able to find it!

All the best,

Bea

I think caterpillar music runs on Monday mornings at Push studios - it's songs, instruments and puppets, I took my daughter from 6months 'till she was almost three and she loved it. The sessions were aroung ?54/term (10 classes) which is similar to a lot of classes in ed, which if you're doing a couple or more a week can really rack up, but you can try it out for free first before committing to the rest of the term....

Hello, having been very scared about facing the mums of dulwich, my old mum of dulwich took the plunge today, and took my daughter to the tippy toes thing at the ceramics cafe. She said it was really good fun, and the room is small enough that she won't lose sight of the little one. Anyone on here go to that group?

    • Unfortunately Nissan was a disaster of a company when it created your car and still is, and most recently created another combined disaster alliance with Renault. Be aware, the trade value on your car is really low as no one wants to do the work & it's often only when it reaches near scrap value that someone (else) is willing to invest (their money) to try and fix. So if you're willing to front the money and fix your car that (you know) then that is most likely your best option (also understanding that it is outrageous that you should have to replace a CVT gearbox after 50K). If that isn't appealing consider a new Skoda Fabia 1.0 (Auto) on finance if you can't afford cash, it will last 20yrs.... (and avoid cars from the Stellantis group)
    • If you are referring to me, I was using my mobile. Just quoting the post I was replying to would have made no sense without showing my original post as well. I wouldn't have been able to do that on a "real PC" either, assuming I carried one around with me everywhere. It's nothing to do with what I'm using, it's the way the forum is set up to quote posts. I did insert a screenshot showing the keyboard by mistake.
    • You have to book for the Sunday roasts in advance. I have bad memories of once going for a circular  walk around Downe and then trying to eat. The Queens Head staff (and customers)  looked at us as if we were mad for attempting to get a meal without booking. The other pub in the village  reeked of bleach.  We had to  drive around in search of a meal, and ended up at some large pub whose name and location  I have thankfully forgotten. All I remember is the food, which was truly awful.
