Hi Ranata and Cass

There was a thread on here a while ago which I started but I can't find it now.

There was a planning application to build a supermarket and several flats above on the site where the vets, estate agent and barbers are currently. The planning application was withdrawn but will probably be revised and resubmitted. That corner needs improving, but I felt that it was an overdevelopment of the site.

When I asked the manager at the Neighbourhood vets last year if they were moving due to redevelopment of the site he said definitely not however they are moving to Lordship Lane in the next few weeks so there we have it. It's a little bit further for us on foot down busier roads but still very close by so not too bad.

Oh, so you're not a spammer? Just a fan of coming onto a local South London forum recommending a) Singaporean air condition servicing; b) sleep headphones for sale in the US only and c) cat scratchers? Please. Just take it somewhere else.

I?m glad to see one of these nuisance spammers engaging with the forum. Tell us, how much do you get paid for posting these links and why do you bother when you?re targetting a geographical market who wouldn?t be interested in the products/services you?re advertising?

Sorry, we didn't see this spammer. I won't ban them just yet as I'm interested to see if they reply but I will remove their spammy posts.

We seem to be getting a lot of spammers these days, please do report them (just one per spammer) and we'll get to them asap.

    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
    • I would also like to add my recommendation for James.  I had taken four names of electricians from the forum - in the order I had read the reviews.  First three no response - even days later. I phoned James this morning. He answered, gave me a time, stuck to it, messaged again 15 mins before arrival.  He fixed my problem on the spot.  Sensible charge out fee. Perfect service.
