Does anyone watch Misfits?

I stumbled upon the first series, and I have to admit, I love it. It's kind of "Heroes", meets "Shaun of the dead". It's now in it's second series, and it looks like they're making an xmas special, and a 3rd series.

Just wondered if anyone else had seen it, or thought it was any good. I sort of feel like it's something I shouldn't like, but I actually think it's really really good.

Thats probably a fair summary. I never had time to get in to it properly, so probably a bit harsh to say it was shite. Glad to see I'm not alone in the Misfits love. And Karter, not sure I have a favourite, but Kelly does make me laugh.

Hooray I haven't been able to find anyone at work who watches it so I'm delighted to find it's not just me ! I watched the first series a couple of weeks ago mainly because I was intrigued by the advert for series 2 ( Nathan buried alive ) really liked series 1 but absolutely loving series 2. Fav character would have to be Nathan especially after the sun lotion incident last week which I replayed several times cringing and laughing too ! Must admit to being intrigued by Simon and the masked guy

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
