Ah Jeremy. We can always come to you for a sympathetic ear and a cheery word.

Don't forget to pop round on Christmas Eve and give my kids the hard truth about Mr Claus.......

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

I know you are Jeremy. But I just don't know WHY you are. We all know how it is. But sometimes we like to have a wee moan to a sympathetic ear nonetheless.

I read it as legalbeagle gently (and slightly festively) chiding/joshing with you for being a bit bah/humbug Jeremy. I don't think she really has a beef with you. I wouldn't get too serious about it

(although I could be wrong. And I largely agree with you. And the OP reminds me of Jono Coleman which can't be his fault but still makes me shudder)

Just a bit of gentle teasing Jeremy, (in the light of *bob*'s absence, quite rightly noted by Keef). I don't have any personal issues with any of the lovely forumites. And especially not during the season of good will and snowman building.

Now don that santa hat and go out and play in the snow. It's LOVELY out there!

    • You raise a good point here regarding heat/climate. The recent dry spell has caused the ground to dry up and move. Just as this movement causes cracks in the walls of people’s homes, it also causes water pipes underground to fracture, hence the recent uptick in reported leaks and the heightened workload for TW
