Huguenot, no, I didn't realise Jamie did them that way but I must admit he is one 'celeb' chef I have warmed to in recent years. I watched his show last night and was impressed with the dishes he cooked, even taught his 90 year old gran (he calls her tiger?!) how to do ham and eggs.

DJKQ - LOL re the consequences, lets leave that one there. This is an Appreciation Society after all :))

I not only love them, but grow them too...they are the only things that are doing well at the allotment at the moment.

Nice "de-leafed" (as though a mini-cabbage) and stir fried in butter and seasoning. Simple but lovely. Nutritious too. By all means throw in bacon bits if that's what cranks your engine.

You're having no more than six. And with your back to the balcony door.

    • Highly recommend Jeremiah from ShinyShine Cleaning who has just done another fantastic job on cleaning our windows, both inside and out. He has been doing our windows for years as he’s reliable,  hard working and a genuinely lovely guy.  Competitive prices too.  Jeremiah - 07947389406
    • Even with this quote from the article? 'First and foremost, the music across its three days is curated with admirable care.'
    • We’l be getting our annual building work done soon (roof ridge tiles redone and the chimney stacks repointed). Mrs Bob says she’ll liaise with the builders and that I should get out from the house so I don’t bother them with inanities. So I’ll be off camping to the Fort again for the Summer - June, July, August, whilst they get on with it. I’ll be in my Decathlon Arpenaz 4.1 fresh and black tent. I’ll have a campfire every Friday night like I usually do.
