A "Laydee" perhaps.... ;-)

Oh blimey - I really should re-read my messages before I post... I can only blame my lack of sleep!

I'm such a light weight that after 4 glasses of wine and only half a slice of pizza I was a bit tiddly so maybe there was cak and cake!

I have already sent a PM to Mark giving him big thanks for a great night. I had just had the mother of all drives back from North Devon, and after a few glasses of red I was a bit smashed! Sorry If I did anything dodgy at the party?..

I did however fall flat on my face on the pavement in LL on the way home whilst searching for a late night kebab. I still have the cut on my knee as a reminder! Sad.

Met some nice people; who also came along in search of that elsuive late night fast food sh!t to eat, but they didn't fall over.

Thanks again Mark and all the sponsors.

It was good to meet you Madworld74 and your other half and all the other people I hadn't met before. I shouldn't worry about being a bit smashed though, it's partly what these things are for and some people need loosening up before arriving so want a little Dutch courage, I know I did the first time I went. Great night indeed. Sadly no one offered me any cak.

I always get the next day paranoia and think I was the most drunk and must have made a fool of myself, but having spoken to Fear, Mockney and Jah since, it would seem that I was not alone! Hurrah, lets do it again! :)-D

It wasn't until I heard Mockney ordering a certain drink the following day that I suddenly had a flash back and remembered that I'd ordered him one of these in the Bishop after the party... I could barely remember being in The Bishop, let alone seeing one of my good friends in there! :-S

I left relatively early too. After Mrs B suggested that I was pretty drunk and not making much sense anymore. Of course I protested my sobriety and gesticulating wildly I stepped backwards and fell over one of the barstools in the downstairs bar.

So I conceded the point, bought the fellow with the wet shirt another pint and made my way home.

Ah! I wondered what happened to you Keef. Talking of fear. I ended up at Fear & Boozing's flat for a while afterwards. God knows what time I got in. I took the taxi option because I was afraid I may have lost the use of my legs and needed to get Shambles home safely as well.

    • So glad to know, some places sell decent food.. not just dumped in microwave to be reheated and to be charged a premium in pricing..
    • a (clean) nappy/pamper, it was like it had snowed in the garden.  The absorbent stuff inside spread everywhere.  Can I have my gardening gloves back please.
    • They've left all kinds of things in my garden including gardening gloves and shoes, not to mention scavenged food and packaging. Once they left an unopened vacuum pack of smoked trout, the next day some pita bread. All a bit biblical.
    • From memory foxes only became a regular sight in the 90s, the attached article says they first appeared in the 30s becoming far more common in the 80s.  Apparently, whilst we think that urban foxes live longer than rural due to their 'easy' life few will make it over the age of two.  In towns they are far more crowded than their natural habitat where they are more territorial. I've never seen foxes and cats fighting but once saw two cats squaring up to each other and a watching fox went up and butted its head against one of the cats.  There's a video on youtube of a cat and fox facing off when the cat is eating outside, but it wont let me embed on this post.  Get too close and I'll scratch you. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/oct/15/urban-foxes-are-they-fantastic-or-a-growing-menace My main issue is leaving things out like gardening gloves and they go or are shredded.  One stole a bag of bird food in front of me, took it next door, shredded the bag and then left it.
