I could be up for some wii swappage too.

I have

Mario & Sonic Olympics

The Simpsons Game

Crash & the Titans

Mario Galaxy (although have barely got going with this yet)

No more heroes

Call of Duty 2 or 3, not sure which, have never played it

Some really bad Ninja Turtles game that I got with the wii

Think that's about all, I really must get to the shops at some stage!

Found this thread earlier this morning

Things you didn't know in games

And when I read about the Wait bit in Oblivion I shuddered at the memory of crouching in some guys attic for half a freaking hour!!

Good to know about the VATS chaining in Fallout 3 as well

Nice thread. Thankfully I haven't been caught by any of those. You can chain up attacks in VATS against all the targets you can see. There doesn't seem to be a way to undo an action from the list once queued however. Still not helping me with the damn fire ants. That's a game I'm definitely hoarding ammo in!

Well i'm very very nearly done on Fable II, just finishing up the last of the side quests before heading to the final battle with Lucien.

Still got 20 keys and 25 gargoyles to find mind, and only managed a couple of the demon doors.

They won't charge for the DLC will they?

Dont get me wrong, there are things wrong with it(and that horrible section was the worst, but with the help of the guy who came around to fix my plumbing(no, really)I got through it), However it has a lot more right with it. Its pretty short and you can usually guess when the sh*ts about to hit the fan but its superbly atmospheric and the sense of isolation is quite often too much(especially with the lights off in the early morning). I'm enjoying it and thats all that really matters. So there. ;-)
Not sure if the full retail version is going to offer MUCH more but the demo of Left 4 Dead on 360 is absolutely brilliant. And despite knowing how they are going to invoke the scares, it hasn't stopped me shrieking when they happen - I'm definitely interested in a 4 person team going online for a demo session?

will happily join up for a co-op session, as after 3 and a half hours to download demo (?!?!!) I got in 20 minutes before spooks, and was singularly unimpressed.

Serious Sam set in Ravensholme.

Not that SS wasn't a lot of fun, it's just that it was a lot of fun 9 years ago when a fast, slick, pretty Doom was acceptable.

I'm hoping co-op will add a something that single player was missing.

Folks,

Getting a s/hand PS2 some time soon, to while away the odd quiet afternoon. So, given I like rallying games, what's the recommendations for the best of the bunch.

Also, are there any good "quirky" possibly games out there for two players?

Tia

oooh - so it is Onion. Odd, they don't usually take demos down upon a game's release

But I suspect there is more to the game experience than Pier's is suggesting

This review for example is making me want to go out and buy it today

But of course I won't - for tonight it's all about creating my Avatar on Live, and copying my games to hard disk

I seems that they didn't want to leave servers just for hosting demo coop games.

Forgot today was the update. Copying games to the drive would be good, but mine is full of demos I still have to try now. Can you install games to an external drive or anything useful like that?

    • I’m not a Gail’s fan but there’s no reason a business shouldn’t open on Christmas Day. However, nobody should be compelled to work the day which, given the widespread coverage of Gail’s questionable employment practices, has to be a possibility here.  The only business I ever use on the 25th is maybe a pub and that’s a rarity these days but buses running would be very welcome for visiting etc. But the swings in the park should definitely remain chained up. Are parks even open on Christmas Day?
    • To be honest, pal, it's not good being a fan of a local business and then not go there. One on hand, the barber shop literally next door to Romeo Jones started serving coffee. The Crown and Greyhound and Rocca serve coffee. Redemption Coffee opened up not far away, and then also Megan's next door to that. DVillage was serving coffee (but wasn't very popular), as was Au Ciel (which is). Maybe also Heritage Cheese, I don't know. There's also Flotsam and Jetsam doing coffee and sandwiches at Dulwich Picture Gallery in the other direction. The whole of Dulwich Village serves coffee. And yet on the other hand, there are enough punters to support all good coffee shops. With the exception of Rocca and Megan's (which are both big spaces) and C&G (which does coffee like everything else - slow and with bad service), all these places regularly get queues out the door. Gail's often has big queues and yet very few people crossed the street to Romeo Jones (which was much better)... Half the staff at Gail's are perfectly fine and efficient. The other half are pretty offhand and rude. It's certainly not welcoming or friendly service. But they're certainly hard working, and no doubt raking the money in for Luke Johnson...
    • Well according to a newspaper article, Gail’s is opening 10 shops in London,,, yup Dulwich is named 10/5 I seem to recall with others in London opening at 7 am…!, Guess that is to capture workers coming off all night shift. Offering free mince pies until they run out.. So very sad to hear about Romeo Jones… been a customer since the opening, any idea where Patrick has gone or details… please pm me.    What is going to be in its place…. Will be around in Jan…umm village is changing….
    • interesting the police said "the car was in demand at the moment" what make/model is that?
