Saffron
What's the best forward-facing car seat for a 1 year old? Little Saff is so tall, she's outgrown both her baby car seats. She seems interested in what's going on the front seat, and I'd like to get her a safe and comfy forward-facing seat that's easy to get in/out of a car. There are soooo many to choose from that I feel overwhelmed. We don't have a car, so we don't travel by car often. Still I think it's really important for her to be safe and comfortable when we do. Plus, the seat needs to be easy to get in/out of a car. Any suggestions?xx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15254-best-car-seat-for-1-yo/ Share on other sites
bonacara
Maxi Cosy Priory - brilliant in terms of safety because of the extra strap tension, once fitted, it is rock solid. Also nice hooks for straps to make getting in and out easier. 4 recline positions. We spent ages chosing and ended up buying one and my little one, who normally hates carseats is in fact very happy in it. He is quite tall too, but I am told this will last until he is about 4 yrs old. Read more on a review about it herehttp://www.babyworld.co.uk/information/reviews/product.asp?id=189Hope it helps. Ruth_Baldock
Seconding the maxi cosi priory! We've got three- one for us, one for IL's and one for my parents. Baby B loves it, thinks it's some huge arm chair and hasn't made a fuss in the car since we got it :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15254-best-car-seat-for-1-yo/#findComment-400783 Share on other sites
randomv
I got the Maxi Cosi Tobi when LO was 10 months old. It's meant to last until 4 years but he's not yet 2.5 and is almost too big for it and we are having to get another one. If I were to do it again, with a large baby, I'd go for the 1-2-3 seats that seemed to be so big for him at the time, the kiddycomfort or similar. Keef
Cybex pallas. It was a which best buy. It is so easy to put in, and our daughter seems really happy in it. We dont drive either, so nice to have one that we can pop in to other people's cars with ease.
