Baby mattresses.

All the mattresses we've ever bought have stunk when taken out of packaging. Some even tell you to allow to ventilate before use....there's some freaky stuff in there, I know it!

What do they stink of? Do you mean chemical type fumes? Is that legal?

This is why i asked this question on here ladies as i read that these supposed fumes also cause illness and worse aswell as bacteria from the second hand mattress.:-S

Yep, I think you're between a rock and hard place when it comes to mattresses. Old ones: bacteria, new ones: chemicals.

I think I am going to get new bubba this one - bit cheaper than natural mat and appeases my neuroses.

Hi LittleEdfamily, thank you, that looks really great and ticks all of the boxes and yes we are all between a rock and a hard place when it comes to this but that mattress looks like the answer even though it's pricey.(tu)
