Hi MrsAk,

I bought an I-Candy Cherry with carry cot (for the first six months). I have found it brilliant really light and excellent to manoeuvre. My son is very long and at 5 and a bit months is now in the buggy part.

The top (carry cot or buggy part) comes away simply and one button folds the base. You do not get punchures with the tyres. I went with an open mind and test drove several models in John Lewis, then opted for I-Candy in fudge (as I didn't know the sex of my baby).

The best of luck with the baby.

We've got the icandy cherry and love it!

Prime thing I looked for it to be lightweight frame as have to lump it up and down stairs, but also love the look of it but haven't been disappointed in the handling.

Must admit, I use my carseat on the frame more than the carrycot now that bugglet is 4mths old, but found the carrycot essential in early days when to get out she'd need to be asleep/staying asleep whereas now, often want her to stay awake!

Also find I can store lots in the basket - think there's more room than on a bugaboo/quinny.

Hope this helps! I was lucky in that being a paeds ED nurse I could quiz parents about their buggies when they came in (obv after reassuring/treating their babies!!)

I have an icandy cherry and absolutely love it! My key need was a lightweight pram as travel a lot and also have stairs at home. I travelled to the States with the frame and carrycot in December, with no problems whatsoever. My daughter is 4 months old and still in the carrycot, and happy in it.

Hope you have an easy 3rd trimester and best wishes for the delivery..

I've got an icandy peach and love it! It's a bit heavier than the cherry but feels solid and is a dream to push around. The only annoying thing is that you can't get much in the basket while in carrycot mode which is a shame as the basket is big.

The main difference between a cherry and a peach is that the peach can be transformed into a double by buying a few extra add-on bits, so might be worth it if you think you might use it in that mode. The peach is only available in 3 colours, I got the brown one which is much nicer in reality than the pictures!

I was deliberating between a bugaboo and peach for ages, in the end chose the peach to be a bit different but am seeing more and more of them around now!

Hope that helps and good luck!

    • Hello everyone, We have lost our wonderful moggie, Cookie.  She's been missing for over a week now and was lost around the back of our house on rail track land around Croxted Road/Turney Road junction. Please do keep an eye out for her and if you see her please let us know urgently as she isn't familiar with the area at all, we are very worried.  She has a microchip (with my brother's contact details) She's black with ginger/brown markings, very distinctive. If you have had sightings of her or seen her at anytime please let do let me know, Henna 07941 047094 If you could post on your local/street groups too, I'd be very grateful. Thank you!
