hilili
I'm finding it increasingly annoying that people I would have considered good friends want to "chat" via text. If life is too busy to prevent us from having eye contact , then should we at least hear the sound of eachothers voices? what do you think? Loz
I think you should write them a letter. They can text you back. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15808-has-texting-gone-too-far/#findComment-411453 Share on other sites

Mick Mac
Surely texting is old school now and possibly being replaced by various instant messaging / facebook friendstream etcI text less than I used to. Jah Lush
That's very true Mac. There are plenty of people I know, girls mostly who spend most of their time chatting on Facebook. In a smaller way I too can be accused of this. I do get a bit fed up with text and when I swap a few I quickly get bored and just phone the other person up. It's so much quicker that way. To talk that is. And again I'd much rather be talking face to face. Narnia
I find that texting is a wonderful way of keeping track of the sprogg's habits at Uni. I see the activity online and know he's still alive.
