Time Out had some choice words in a brief article about him this week! Can't find it online and I don't have my copy here! Go and flick through one in your local newsagents!

P.S. They weren't particulary complimentary. I can't comment as I don't tend to keep up with the "young people's music".

Oh my god, seems I actually own some. It's on my Camden Crawl 2007 CD.

TBH it's harmless enough, he's not some manufactured nonsense, he didn't win a stupid talent show, just a lad who writes his own songs and managed to get noticed in a tough, sh!tty industry.

Good on him I say. It's not terrible either, just a little, forgettable.

Male Kate Nash sums it up nicely.

Of course Kate Nash is lovely, you just want to take her home to meet your mum; can't say the same of Jack

Well I never.

There I was thinking he was descended from a line of pen eaters, but it actually turns out he's Pe?ate, a half breed Spaniard from south east London descended from rock like people.

As our names translate to 'gracious rock' and 'stone sheep-path' respectively, I have to say I'm warming to the lad!!

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
    • Perry Bamonte from The Cure.. Just 65 years old.
