MellowYellow
Morning - any recommendations of where to get name labels for kids clothing? Ideally iron on unless they don't stay stuck. Many thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/163533-name-labels-for-kids-clothing/ Share on other sites
tarafitness
I've been using Stikins for the past 2.5 years, they really do stay stuck! I attach them to my son's clothes labels, and inside his shoes. Plus you can peel them off and reuse them. Very handy :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/163533-name-labels-for-kids-clothing/#findComment-1166235 Share on other sites
etta166
I sew them in. It only takes an evening to label all the new uniform for 3, once in the autumn and once in the summer. It probably takes a bit longer than stickers, but they stay in for ever (so I haven't had to relabel clothes for subsequent children). To be honest, I found Ironing them on took longer and they peeled off anyway. goldilocks
also recommend Stikins - was suspicious but they really work - take a couple of seconds to apply (including time to peel off the label in the first place). Works on clothing, coats and water bottles. Much preferable to sewing / ironing! Sonners
I've used stick on ones from mynametags for 3 years and they've never peeled off until I've wanted to. Very good! If you're starting school then some PTAs have cash back arrangements with some of the name label companies so worth checking out before buying. sfalondon
Have been using this for a couple of years - they are great! Their starter pack is great as it has a selection of products.https://www.easy2name.com/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/163533-name-labels-for-kids-clothing/#findComment-1167594 Share on other sites
yeknomyeknom
I've used all the above before and they are timely or ineffective. I now use the ink stamp from stamptastic as recommended by my schools pta. It ink stamps a name on any surface from pencil cases to clothes and won't fade in the wash. The product theoretically lasts forever so should see you through many years of school. Very cost effective.https://stamptastic.co.uk/collections/named-stamp/products/standard-name-stamp Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/163533-name-labels-for-kids-clothing/#findComment-1167788 Share on other sites
alex_b
Another vote for stamptastic, super easy to use. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/163533-name-labels-for-kids-clothing/#findComment-1168554 Share on other sites
