RecorderSue
I think you jet have to get on the waiting list and wait for one to become available Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/164929-allotments/#findComment-1169795 Share on other sites
chris-
You can try Gunsite allotment My name is on the list and there is an average wait of 5 years. So its best to put yourself down as soon as you canhttp://gunsiteallotments.org/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/164929-allotments/#findComment-1169801 Share on other sites
another annie
We've been on the list for a plot at One Tree Hill Allotments for 4 years, and I was hoping we might be getting close to the top of the list. Wishful thinking obviously - I've just looked at their website, and they're now saying it could be a 10 year wait for Southwark residents if they apply now. Sue
Grove allotments opposite the old Harvester, next to Camber tennis club on the South Circular next to the entrance to the woods has a very short waiting list at the moment.https://groveallotmentsdulwich.wordpress.com/You would probably not have to wait longer than two years max. sallyfran
The Stuart Road allotments come up for renewal each year in September so they may open the waiting list again then. There are more than 200 whole plots, many of which are becoming divided into two (to allow new members in) and I think they cap the waiting list at around 150 (if a committee member is reading they may be able to confirm or correct this) but there is a fair degree of turnover and it is worth getting your name on the list if you are able. Lollipop
Try the DHCS allotment which is near the Horniman. Our waiting list is not too long and it is lovely therehttps://www.facebook.com/DHCSAllotments/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/164929-allotments/#findComment-1170393 Share on other sites
BigED
Depending on a) where you are in ED/area, b) whether you have a car, c) are prepared to travel and d) are really desperate for an allotment then you could try Longmeadows Allotments just this side of Catford near the south circular.http://longmeadowsallotments.weebly.com/contact-details.htmlExpect to wait maybe a year.BigED Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/164929-allotments/#findComment-1171195 Share on other sites

Sue
At Grove (and probably elsewhere) you can apply for just half a full size plot, or maybe even smaller.JenJen911 Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Hello!> > If anyone would like to share an allotment or> would just like help please PM me and let me know.> I am really keen and more than willing to put in> some decent time and support but don't want the> responsibility of a whole plot to myself at the> moment.> > I live in ED but have a car and a bike.> > Jenny Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/164929-allotments/#findComment-1196905 Share on other sites
