18th birthday party

Wanted: a local(ish) venue for my daughter's 18th birthday party around middle of December. Must be reasonably priced or ideally free. Everywhere I've tried is already booked! Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried the local churches - they usually have halls to hire. St Fsith's have a beautiful room.

How many attending, and for how long? I can't imagine you'll get anywhere for free indoors... Unless you mean restaurant that won't charge a booking fee? And I'm not sure where you'd go outdoors in December, without a serious prospect of bad weather? However, I'll be following with interest if anything turns up!

My daughter has a winter birthday, we usually hire a church hall for a few hours. For larger halls, expect to pay around ?35/hr.
