A crowd of only 196 watched Hamlet win at Thurrock this afternoon. We need to improve our away support!

It was Thurrock?s highest gate of the season, except for their game against Billericay - which is just down the road - and that match was on the August Bank Holiday.

Anyway, the Bovril was good and Reise Allassani scored his 5th in 5 to take us 6 points clear at the top.

Property developers Meadow Residential are doing all they can to put Dulwich Hamlet out of business and are threatening to lock the club out of the ground before tomorrow?s home match. Breaking news: the football club has just signed ? 'under duress' - a new licence with the parasitic property developers, so the club won't be locked out of the ground and tomorrow afternoon's home game against Brightlingsea will go ahead. It would be brilliant to fill the ground to show the evil scumsuckers how much the club means to people locally. Clearly the council and the Isthmian League have been very supportive of the club during this outrageous episode.

Well the match, Foodbank collection and Supporters? Trust Christmas Party will now be going ahead. All of which are pretty good in my book. I do take your point however.

The match did indeed go ahead, and Dulwich won 2-1. The crowd was 1,828 which, while it means the ground wasn't actually full (capacity is 3,000) is still brilliant for a game at this level on a cold winter's day against a tiny club from a distance away.

Dulwich now lead Billericay (the moneybags club) by 2 points, but Billericay inconveniently have four games in hand. Everyone else is miles back, though Folkestone (11 points adrift) do have three games in hand.

Dulwich's next home game is against Leiston on the 23rd, by which time the table will be a bit more meaningful as each of Billericay and Folkestone will have used up two of their games in hand.

The need to continue to show support and fill the club's coffers remains - take a break from Xmas shopping and be there on the 23rd.

Very good to hear Southwark Council leader Peter John give a message of support at half time. It's easy to be cynical and say that the council's 'support' hasn't amounted to anything concrete yet, but we don't know what's been done behind the scenes ? and the council aren't obliged to say anything at all in public.

True of Folkestone, but Billericay will only have made up one game, as they play in the FA Trophy on 16/12. Could be none if the Trophy match goes to a replay...

[Aspire Pre-Academy]

Hi all, Aspire Pre-academy and Dulwich Hamlet Football Club are running community football sessions in and around East Dulwich for kids aged 4 to 12. We have sessions on a Saturday morning at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club (11am - 12pm) and sessions at Lyndhurst Primary School on a Friday evening (5:30pm - 6:30pm). At these sessions the kids will be coached by our fully qualified FA and UEFA Licence coaches. ON top of this we have a few giveaways available:

So, Folkestone lost one of their games in hand on Tuesday, to bottom club Worthing. Ricay?s game on Tuesday was postponed so they won?t make up any games in hand before Christmas (assuming all remaining games go ahead of course).
