hi all,

we have recently opened our fantastic new jungle room at The Victoria Inn.

the brightly painted, jungle themed room is packed full of children's toys to keep them entertained for hours.

we also have a camera in there which is linked to a screen in the pub so you are able to enjoy your lunch & drinks whilst still being able to keep your eye on your little ones.

the access to the room is completely free & even better if you come and sign up to our mum's the word loyalty card you will receive lots of great exclusive offers such as 25% off your meal.

hope to see you all down here soon,

Molly

Hi Fuscia,

Just to point out that whilst the Victoria and the Florence have the same parent company, myself and Molly are in charge of our own separate businesses.

If I can't convince you that we have mended our ways, and that your experience is one which we are truly sorry about and would really appreciate the opportunity to make amends for, then I would ask that you do not penalize Molly and the Victoria for our shortcomings!

Sneaked over for a look at the kids room today, and whilst of course we love our own kids room (with some new toys - shameless plug), I am rather jealous of the great paintings on the walls over there!

Hoping that your new kids room brings as many happy family outings out as we have had.

Hi Mollie

I have mentioned about your new play room on the Spring baby club - we are due a meet at Wooden circle in Warwick gardens on Thur afternoon. I have said your place would be a good back up option if rain - obviously everyone would be buying drinks/ snacks. Hope this is okay? Our Spring baby meet is actually also part of Wooden circle group meet up each month - so there could be a few people dropping by if rain!!

Sue

You're right phil and I know you have apologised now but I guess I still very sensitive about it - as you know we complained on the day and the mAnAger wSnt reAlly bothered

Although my partner has vowed never to return to the Florence maybe I cN convince him to try the victoria

The playroom does sound good

23charlie- Hi Sue,

    • I'm in the middle of the civil service pension crisis with no pension for 4 months and counting. No access to the much publicised loans either. I have emailed Helen Hayes several times. It took her 6 weeks to contact Capita on my behalf but no follow up, no reply, she didn't attend the Westminster Hall debate about the issue either. Lots of other MPs are speaking and acting on behalf of their constituents but I've had no joy. Has anyone else please? What works to get help from Helen Hayes?

    • Honestly, the squirrels are not a problem now.  They only eat what has dropped.  The feeders I have are squirrel proof anyway from pre-cage times.  I have never seen rats in the garden, and even when I didn't have the cage.  I most certainly would have noticed them.  I do have a little family of mice which I have zero problem about.  If they stay outside, that's fine with me.  Plus, local cats keep that population down.  There are rats everywhere in London, there is plenty of food rubbish out in the street to keep them happy.  So, I guess you could fit extra bars to the cage if you wanted to, but then you run the risk of the birds not getting in.  They like to be able to fly in and out easily, which they do.
