You see, Brendan is clearly a hit with the 'ladeez' too. *Bob* and Brendan. Sigh.

(???? - you are soooo right about that, I have noticed it more recently too! Wonder why?)

Hey - I posted on this a little while ago now for myself (and was brave enough to put up a pic) and got some responses, some of which turned into dates...there are definitely some nice (single) men in ED, not right for me (or me for them) but they are out there...

Absolutely agree Quids

(you can swap the genders below at will - I've written them as they apply to this thread)

women who regularly berate men, who say they are happy single*, and have the "the energy to enjoy many of them" are also the women who will bend your ear (in person, facebook, on here) about the lack of good men. (and if it looks as if I'm talking specifically about posters on here, I'm really not. This circle is much wider)

You would think by the law of averages, if nothing else, they stand a much better chance of meeting a good one

But no, it is they who at night spend their time, not expending energy on "many men" (usually anyway) but wondering why they are so miserable and alone

* actually they may admit to not being happy single. They may profess a desire to settle but can't find the right one. This is wrong, that's wrong. But it's never them that has issues. No sirreee

He should be safe for now. Most of the man-hungry hormonally imbalanced bunny boiling singletons will be down the pub by now, flashing their tits at anything with a scrotum.

But when they get home (angry, drunk.. and alone) - there's going to be trouble.

Hmm, food for thought.

In my experience it's because the men who can satisfy you physically don't tend to be the ones who satisfy you mentally, so it's a toss up. Do you go for the stimulating conversation and mediocre sex, or forgo the intellectual and get your groove on regularly.

Not only that, women who are more demanding sexually, are likely to be less attractive to some men, than a woman who likes to please the man more than take her own pleasure, for a variety of reasons.

I think to say there are no good men out there is lazy and inaccurate. It would be more accurate for women like the ones you have described SJ, to say there are no men who can both shag and talk well enough to satisfy her tastes!

    • My neighbour has one of these cars and I have never seen her with passengers or carrying goods. Can understand if they need to carry a wheelchair or small mobility scooter. Must admit I do not drive down certain roads as I know that there is insufficient room for 2 cars to pass.

    • @Sue said: nobody is blaming the child, they are blaming the person who should have been watching him g) do you really think it was acceptable for that person to find the situation funny? This is the point. Adults are meant to teach their children by example. It sounds as though the adult guardian/ father in this case did not react appropriately. Had a truly sincere apology been given,  I suspect the OP would not have posted on here. It is possible the OP snapped in the heat of the moment, but they were possibly startled because they were hit from behind? If we are startled it can be instinctive to initially react with anger. I also agree that it would be highly irresponsible to let any very young child ride or walk or do anything on a busy public street without supervision- most of all to protect the child. If in this case the child was out of the adult's line of sight that is perhaps another indication that the father needs a refresh in appropriate behaviour around a child, as well as his manners.
