katanita
Hello ED hive mind. I am Secret Santa to someone who would like "something useful", and I was trying to think of something really useful for about ?10 or under. So, I'm wondering, what's the most useful thing you own in that price range? Maybe something you are surprised to find yourself using every day, something unassuming, etc etc? Thanks in advance! katanita
thanks for suggestions! I particularly liked the idea of a key ring penknife @rahrahrah, found a little keyring multitool that looks decent so will go for that. katanita
Thank goodness I've never had to do Secret Santa with colleagues. This is amongst friends, so should hopefully avoid getting a load of plastic tat. For a tenner I've gotten her the enormous Almost Everything There is to Know (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Almost-Everything-There-Timothy-Hunkin/dp/0600570878) and a handy multitool, so if all you were getting were fortune telling fish (6 for ?1.65) HMB you were very short changed. This thread has also reminded me to buy a steamer, so thanks!
