trees losing branches at top end of lordship lane

Hi

Two of our local trees have lost big branches in the last week or so and was wondering if people had ideas on what might be causing this and if there's anything we can do. The first one was outside the drycleaners at the top of Landells road, more recently two signficant branches have fallen off one of the trees outside St thomas more church.

Am wondering is this drought distress or damage caused by the never ending gas works or both? Can we do anything?

Probably due to the buses brushing into and weakening them, resulting in eventually falling off. You could contact the council to see if they are aware?

In my opinion, the 400 year freak spring conditions have caused it. I was stood outside The Plough Sainsburys when a whole branch just fell off a tree.

Near the Chener bookshop there is a hazard sign on a tree (not a big tree) which just says tree.......it seems it would have been better to cut off the branches that were hanging over the road!!

At a guess: The salting of roads etc the last few winters coupled with the freezing conditions, followed by drought and lots of wind?
