or in your case songs to be 'remove.bot.remove'-d to.

My Mum always wanted Bridge over Troubled Water at her funeral but it had to be Simon and Garfunkel. She got it

She loved 'Bring him home' from Les Mis.( as the coffin was being lowered)

The final song was 'Time to say good bye'.

What annoyed me, I spent so much time sorting out the songs and the order, yet the undertakers tried to rush us away after a few bars of the final song. I grabbed hubby and closed my eyes and made out I was praying to hear a few more bars. Would not have minded if there was someone waiting to come in but there was nobody.

Father in law being Polish had a Polish Ballard about white roses. ( we had white roses display with artifical red poppies as they are the national flower of Poland). Mother in Law went out to Verdi

I fancy Tom Jones - Green Grass of home', possibly a bit of 'Phantom of the Opera' sung by Michael Ball or Russell Watson.

obviously.

As it goes, my Cousin went with this. He was only 53 and it was a humanist funeral so we all laughed at the irony.

, just for a laugh too.

And for number three Comfortably Numb as someone mentioned above.

ANYthing but bloody Bette Middler Wings Beaneath My wings or anyone's version of My Way!

    • I checked - the Hanway Street place was Mandeer - it moved to New Oxford Street and was replaced by Hakkasan - very different prices.
    • Suppose it depends on how many Christmas cards from family and friends you’re waiting to receive. It’s been the Christmas period so surely give the post delivery service some leeway. Like Sue I’ve not posted off so many this year but some I still write letters to  e.g my late mum’s cousins and other family  but hey ho that’s something I do and enjoy.  I used to hand deliver Christmas cards to a lot of neighbours on my street but gave up this year as realised that most of them I don’t see or speak to and can only count on a few to call a true friend or neighbour.
