Ultraconsultancy
I'm thinking of naming a business after Zenoria Steet, where it will be based. I think the word itself sounds kid of funky; and it also means we might get fewer marketing calls. But I'm concerned that Zenoria might be some ancient now-discredited fascist leader responsible for the death of thousands [these things happen you know], and would thus present the wrong image. So, apart from a town in Louisiana, USA, does anyone know after whom or what is this ED Street named?Ultraconsultancy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1808-zenoria-street-lounged/ Share on other sites
ratty
Yes, it's actually named after an ancient now-discredited fascist leader responsible for the death of thousands. Bad Luck! Marmora Man
Zenoria was, apparently, a femae name used by Victorians - which may explain why the street / raod is called Zenoria but not its origin. Can't find it in the Bible - a popular Vistorian source of names. Keef
If you google Zenoria, you will in fact find that it is a thread on the East Dulwich Forum entitled "Zenoria Street" (Lounged). I thought everyone knew that! :-S Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1808-zenoria-street-lounged/#findComment-51548 Share on other sites
Michael Palaeologus
"Zenoria Street" is where Big Bird's Babilonian cousin lives.Zenoria is also where a beautiful, purple lady came from in the first Star Trek series. Capt Kirk snogged her and had fisticuffs with the evil alien holding her captive, the evil alien looking like a bloke in a very bad carrot disguise. Spock couldnt give him the Vulcan neck-pinch because carrots dont have necks; but Kirk pureed him - so all was well.
