mattC
Mark - a great site, great idea, and very much needed. Thankyou.I just wondered what you think about adding an 'Introduce yourself' sticky to make the place even friendlier? People could post as much or as little they liked.Hell...I'll just start shall I?I'm Matt and live in East Dulwich, and am one of those faceless commuters seen every morning at the station. I can also (sometimes!) be spotted jogging round Peckham Rye park with my iPod, and perhaps more often, in one or two of our half decent bars.M Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/181-introductions/ Share on other sites
Mark
Hi MattNow, on my list of things to do for this site, I have 'create a field where people can write a bit about themselves so that it appears on their profile page'. God know when I'll get round to it though!Glad you like the site, thanks for using itMark Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/181-introductions/#findComment-3125 Share on other sites
JoGoJo
Good idea MattCI'm Jo. I can sometimes be seen riding a folding bike, badly, around Dulwich Village & East Dulwich. I've only just got it and I'm a bit scared of the road. After 2 years in the area I think I've tried out almost every local eating place and infrequently check out the bars. giddygecko
Indeed what a great website & hurrah to Matt for starting off the intros. Well I am currently living in Nth London but will be moving to East Dulwich this weekend (12th May), I work in Southwark (Bermondsey) so am vaguely familiar with the area but just wondered if there are any links for "new to the areas like myself"? I would be grateful for any info on things to do, places to go, where to eat, shop & just hang out. I have a friend coming over from Australia soon for 8 weeks so it would be to be pre-armed with some good local knowledge. As for me, I am 36, work & as you know about to move to East Dulwich, interested in local community safety & enviro issues. I ride a little 125 motorbike, enjoy wide open spaces (especially near water), I have a surfboard with L plates, but enjoy sufring the net too. Look forward to hearing from anyone with local knowledge.Cheers GG Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/181-introductions/#findComment-14860 Share on other sites
