Little things you've found yourself wondering, after reading the EDF.

It's so's News International/Corps get the inside skinny on the corpse before their rivals.

Ladies & Gentlemen my names HonaloochieBenElton, I'm here, all weak.

I find EDF very interesting at times reading other peoples points of few from all walks of life and experiences. There are times when others want to dominate the forum with there long winded opinions and intellect and others are just laid back about the whole thing in general.
I find myself wondering what percentage of the folk I see in Lordship Lane on any average day or evening, actually members of EDF, and then if any of them are the regular posters. I wonder why some write as a character, and what they think the point of that is.

Pretty much the same. I deactivated, and created otta for sing the family room, which can be very useful.

I was weak though.

I did last longer than Sean before being outed though :)

It's interesting how the forum can assume more importance than it does I guess.

Even when talking to my next door neighbours, it comes up in conversation. It's rare I find someone that does not refer to it for something or use it in some way.

Moreover, what I think is amusing is when I meet someone new, and find out who they are on the forum.... then pray I have not offeneded them in any way in the past!

    • Niko hardly needs another recommendation but we use him regularly. He's good value, he turns up when he says - or tells you if he can't - and definitely knows what he is doing.
    • Ian the guy who used to own the garage left last year. The place is run by someone else now. Ian was our reliable mechanic for many years, a sad loss. We now use Turners on Barry Road.
    • Agreed that Niko is really good: he was helpful and explained everything in detail, and did a good job fixing the problem I had. He was also honest rather than trying to drum up a bigger (more expensive) job for himself by telling me everything needed replacing etc. He charged a very reasonable rate. Will definitely call him when I need a plumber again and would recommend!
    • Sue, Sue, Sue Yes the bus stop at what was The Kings Arms I believe remains closed,  However the stops at the Heaton Arms (no youngster here) is open. Easiest way is a 63 or 363 to Peckham Hill street and change for the 78 which takes you directly to the front door or as good as.
