Clubs for older kids - outdoor activities - anything insect like?

Hi there,

My son is hugely in to the outdoors and insects. Does anyone know of any foresting type club etc. for older kids? He's 10. I've been asking around for ages and they all seem to be for younger children. Anything with an insect/reptile vibe would be amazing too.

Ah yes. I had contacted her some time ago and I don't think she had any activities on for the older kids at the time - but I will absolutely double check to see if this has changed at all.

Jolly foresters run sessions in dulwich Park and Bessemer grange nature garden but maybe too young-worth a call?

Have you tried the centre for wildlife gardening? They may have ideas...?

There is usually a talk about insects and a bug hunt at the Nunhead open cemetary day (Sunday 18th I think). The man who does it is very knowledgeable about insects and could advise your son or clubs or activities.
