I'd fancy L'Arse more if they weren't continually undone by their curious desire to pass the ball into the net when smashing the odd one from 20 yards would probably secure them the title. Still, Chelsea and Arsenal are everything that's wrong with football these days, so their mutual failure is also rather enjoyable.

Bottom 3 anyone?

I'll have Burnley, Hull and Portsmouth. All crap.

Had we not been so unfortunate with injuries this season and had our owners not bled the club dry of any profit made over the summer from the sale of players, I believe we would have been in the mix for the league. We have been royally fucked over by Gillett and Hicks and it will only get worse.

Plus, and I quote John Motson on the raido last night, Rafa Benitez isn't the full ticket.

Where's "ianeasy" when you need him ?

Breathe deep & " in with anger , out with love"

Arsenal to nick it though

77 new players since he started the job, 47 of which have left the club and two trophies won on penalties. Not the record of a great Liverpool manager Anna, even you must admit that?

Right Manager Wrong Owners

This article sums it up perfectly for me. If you can be arsed to read it you might begin to understand how I feel rather basing your opinions on incorrect figures that are thrown about in the tabloid press, which everyone seems to take as gospel.

SP - of the numbers you've quoted, whats your source? Please can you also tell me if all of the "47" he sold were his buys?

Really wish I'd not bothered coming back on here as all you all do is piss me off. Seems to be most people's objectives within this thread.

That's just my opinion of course, Woof. I'm not saying they don't play good football, just that Wenger's irritating habit of over-elaborating and not bringing through any young English players is a real blight on the game.

A hug would also be great thanks.

Breakdown here of ins and outs since he became manager - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1221975/Rafa-Benitezs-229m-spending-spree-The-76-players-signed-Liverpool-managers-reign.html leading to as at a year ago Liverpool having 62 players in their first team squad http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/mar/29/premier-league-huge-squads

I've got no axe to grind but given that much business if he hasn't built a squad who are contenders by now then he never will surely?

There is no intention to piss anyone off Anna. And its good that you are back on here. We all have to put up with our clubs being the butt of jokes from time to time.

Arshavin, Eduardo, Vela and Walcott. Ummm....are they not strikers then?

Spurs have nine first team players out and we still managed to get a good result at Stoke on Saturday. That's five wins on the trot. Just hope we can keep it going and hang on to fourth and win the FA Cup. Got my ticket for tomorrow's night's replay against Fulham.

Not really Jah, I was thinking more of a penalty box poacher. Every team should have one.

So you don't think Eduardo would come into that category? Most teams don't have them these days. Jermaine Defoe and Michael Owen are pretty good examples but I can't think of any other players like that at Premiership clubs. They are a dying breed.

Anna, I'm not digging for the sake of it! I've read the article and I understand the implications for all clubs. I just don't think you can blame owners and injuries for this. Why did he buy Aquilani only to keep him on the bench for so many important games? What happened with Robbie Keane?

Treat others how you would want to be treated.  I don’t want them to lose their job, far from it. Free Internet and university places for youngsters. What were his other manifesto pledges? Why all the ambiguity over Brexit?  I didn't like Thatcher, Blair or May or Tony but I respected them as politicians because they stood by what they believed in. I respect all politicians across the board that stick to their principles. Corbyn didn't and its why he got  annihilated at the polls. A socialist, anti imperialist and anti capitalist that said he voted for an imperialist and pro capitalist cabal. He refused to say how he'd vote over and over again until the last knockings. He did so to appease the Islington elite and middle class students he was courting. The same people that were screaming that Brexit was racist. At the same time the EU were holding black and Asian immigrants in refugee camps overseas but not a word on that! Corbyn created and courted a student union protest movement that screamed at and shouted down anyone not on the left . They claimed Starmer and the centre right of labour were tories. He didn't get elected  because he, his movement and policies were unelectable, twice. He turned out not to have the convictions of his politics and died on his own sword.    Reform won't win an election. All the idiots that voted for them to keep out Labour actually enabled Labour. They'll be back voting tory next time.    Farage wouldn't be able to make his millions if he was in power. He's a very devious shyster but I very much doubt he'd actually want the responsibility that governance requires.
