Arsenal?

Only Arsenal (19 times) have beaten Man City on more occasions than Spurs (18 times) in the Premier League era. Fact!

Spurs have won away at City more often than any other club in the Premier League era - 8 times in 12 games. Fact!

I just hope that doesn't count for nothing. Come on you Spurs!

I bloody hope he is.

Also, I've been reading that Peter Crouch could be plouging a lone furrow up front. I don't agree with such negative tactics. It's not the Spurs way. We should just play our normal game and go for the jugular and hopefully come away with all three points. I'd settle for one though. Three would be the icing on the cake.

Spurs should definitely go for the win, and make sure Bale is forward of Assou-Ekotto...Harry bottled it at OT by dropping Bale back to LB and switching lefty Assou-Ekotto over to right back, both had a 'mare...Fergie was obviously worried by Bale when he played the pacier Rafael instead of Nev...

If he's scared of pacy wingers we might have a chance then.

Similar thoughts re City and defensiveness. Barry being injured Saturday was good, meant he couldn't play the three in central midfield (Barry, de Jong, and Viera), de Jong and Viera worked well as a two with Johnson and Bellamy. Just wish the two wingers would swap from time to time to hit the byline.

    • Just to repeat the news I was given – it's not being converted into a pub. As far as I know, there's no intention of dumbing down their restaurant offering.  Although as others have pointed out, Camberwell has two pubs – The Camberwell Arms and now the Michelin-starred Kerfield Arms – with excellent food. The Palmerston used to be the only pub in ED that was of such quality, but sadly no longer IMHO.
    • The country is in a real state.  What worries me about the Greens is encouraging migration and openly offering benefits to all with visas.  Where is the money for that coming from?  As if there is spare money, as if there is growth. Where I their holistic manifesto, ensuring funds are available and this is sustainable, and regulated? Incredibly dangerous and idealistic

    • I disagree with the use of the word "sectarianism" in this context and Starmer is a total a*se to have introduced it. In my mind, sectarianism conjures up the hatred and vicious violence of The Troubles in Northern Ireland.  The divide between the Greens and Reform are a long way from that and is more reminiscent of a time when the two main parties actually stood for something and voting was more a matter of following one's political beliefs. Nobody called that sectarianism.
