matthew123
Brilliant performance but what must have really hurt was how they toyed with Madrid keeping ball for long spells. I think only maybe Messi could have also scored that first goal. SCSB79
I think a few of the Barca players had a bob or two on that 5-0 score line as there were times that a simple ball through the Real defence would have had them one on one. It was SO easy for Barca it seemed like they were deciding when to score!!!As EC said, quite possibly the best game of football I've ever seen. mockney piers
I'm a Madrile?o but I can't stand Real, so not a Madridista by any stretch, never have been able to. Much prefer looking out for Atl?tico. That said as a Madrile?o there's still civic pride at stake so am a little chagrined. It was annasfields dismissive 'or whatever...' that cracked me up, can't see many Catalans feeling flattered by good wishes like that ;-P Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/231/#findComment-486612 Share on other sites

mockney piers
It wasn't hilarious in all fairness, it just made me chuckle and irked me in equal measures, in that supercilliously xenophobic manner that the English can do so very well.anna's comment came across very "..or whatever they do in fuzzywuzzy land", so I thought I'd poke fun.Just ignore me, I'll go off and get a life now....For the record it was Greek, in an attempt to reflect the levels of love lost between Madrid and Barcelona.I was going to do France and Germany but 'allez les bleus' in german is 'go blue' apparently, and didn't really work. And yes it does travel with us. It wouldn't be Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea or Man U now would it? And it certainly would be over the border in Scotland!
