Yeah - like they score about 20 goals a season, all added together.

I wouldn't worry about it Mick as Celtic can only afford Arsenals yesterday men like Hartson and Freddie, also some of the players are midfielders who feed strikers rather than score but I won't let that get in the way of your huge footballing wisdom.

But I thought City had the best fans in the world and all lived local. I bet Dzeko is trying to find that bloke who told him City had the most supporters in Manchester. It was only ?15 to get in last night as well. Maybe as it was a night game they were worried they would miss the last train back to Stockport :))

Actually there was a University that did a study of Utd and City season ticket holders a few years ago. Utd had more season ticket holders in Manchester than City did.

Utd have also had higher crowds than City every single year since 1946, not all Utd fans are Johnny come lateley's, although plenty are of course. Years ago you used to see Liverpool shirts everywhere, then Utd and Arsenal and more recently Chelsea, sure it will change again soon.

Out of interest Emerson where did you grow up, Islington I presume?

To be precise, just up the road from the Angel not too far from Highbury Corner is where I lived when I was small.

That happens at most clubs

We didn't miss you or your posts so feel free to stay away more often

Thanks Jah.

As I said, I really enjoyed the Spurs game. The only disappointment and, I think, the reason that Spurs didn't win was that Bale disappeared a bit. If he'd have played us the way he played Inter we would have been in real trouble. As far as the sending off went I think it was a stupid first tackle and any defender who gets a booking that early has to be very, very careful as it only take one bad decision to get a second yellow. United's defending was superb which was a bonus (and it had to be).

Tonight, for one time only I shall be cheering on Leeds. Shame Beckford isn't still playing for them ;).

    • Adam and Tam have transformed my garden from a mess of grass and weeds. They created a raised planting area down the side and around the base of a tree and shed, planted various things in it, put down anti weed matting and bark. They also dug up and reseeded the areas of grass which had been taken over by weeds and jet washed my patio. The garden now looks great and a lot bigger. Adam was easy to communicate with and he had ideas on what would work well in the space. Highly recommend his services.
