Get a room........

Howard Webbs kids have been in the press this morning denying their dad is a Manc fan. "Our dad has always been a big football fan, but he's a fan of the game and never had an allegiance to any particular club. Any suggestions otherwise are extremely hurtful to our dad as a professional and to us as his family" said children George, Bobby, Alex, Eric and Christiano.

Get a life

It's boring innit Keef. Every season, the same two teams from Glasgow and the rest of the country is shite. I really don't see the attraction of Scottish football at all. You don't even get any good players from north of the border anymore either. Where are the likes of Dalglish, Law, Mackay, Archibald etc etc. They just don't seem to produce those sort of players anymore. Shame.

    • It’s a flat fee levy payable by guests staying in hotel and hostel rooms, so added to the bill.  This already happens in Manchester and Liverpool ( I think in Liverpool it’s a percentage, so the more expensive rooms pay more). I read somewhere that Edinburgh is doing this next year? Charges of this kind are becoming common around the world. I think it absolutely makes sense for Southwark and other boroughs are bound to follow.
