Yeah. Like West Ham's perfectly good 90th minute winner being disallowed for a handball that no-one else other than the referee saw ...poor, old unlucky Wolves. West Ham aren't very good but Everton's 92nd minute equaliser after a frankly Bizzarre sending off and the above would have seen us with 4 more points. So the luck thing and the dodgy sdecisions thing actually break pretty even over time, so Arsenal fans moaning about Karmic influence ditto Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea saying their victimised is hysterical for us fans of the normal clubs. Some twa*t in the Observer the other day actually siad "I'm a long suffering Arsenal fan"!!!! Long suffering! Try being a fan of West Ham or Newcastle or the Blades or etc etc etc

I don't support arsenal so it does not bother ne. I'm supporting chelsea spurs and man city this year. None if whom look like winning me any money.

Quids. I'm not saying other teams aren't frequently hard done by. Or that arsenal don't sometimes get the rub of the green. I have also repeatedly said that ultimately today was arsenals fault

But

It wasn't one or even two decisions that were blatant today. Whatever the reasons, the tally by the end was bizarre and I stand by Chelsea and man utd not having to ever worry about the net total of decisions

Atticus, I'm not quite sure what your point is. A several yards offside goal last week has led to...?

MM, I know your fickle ways! I was just saying I think I'd be more gutted had that been the scenario.

I'll happily spell it out for you then.

Moyes' outburst earlier this week, might, just might have helped plant a negative seed into the heads of match officials where ref'ing Arsenal games is concerned. The revelation of your captain's tunnel outburst will have been noted by many referees, who are after all only human. Hope that's clear. Besides, surely Wolves have helped soften the blow.

Oh I don't know. There'll be no secretarian bile emanating from the stands though I should think Torres will come in for some stick and there is a bit of recent history between these two so plenty in this one to have more than a passing interest and I seriously want Liverpool to win. Come on the Pool.

I don't know what Smith does at half time, but he took a team on top of the game at HT to a team who seemed to be scared to be leading a game.

Had the opportunity to grab that game by the throat and hammer Celtic.

Naismith a silly boy for getting sent off.

Oh well, 7 games this season. Boring.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
