Stoke boss Tony Pulis believes Demba Ba is an accident waiting to happen after West Ham agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal for the Senegal striker. Ba's ?7.1m move to Stoke collapsed when he failed a medical because of a knee injury, and Pulis said he could not have gone through with the deal in good faith.

I wondered how much of a risk West Ham were taking given Stoke had turned him down because of his knee problem, but if he continues with his 'shoot on sight'* policy, should go a long way towards saving West Ham. And yes, Pulis is probably bitter about a couple of results going against him of late.

Dead right we need to be careful. Too many players carrying knocks for too long and today was a very bad day at the office (cliche no.33 in a series of...). Rumours we are prepared to throw our FAC QF at home against Bolton next week (obviously not official rumours).

You Hammers fans should beware of Tottenham Hotspur losing to Wolves tomorrow. These are the sort of fixtures that are our particular type of banana skin especially as some of the players may well be thinking about the AC Milan game next week. Obviously, I'm sincerely hoping we win both but I know only too well what we're like.

After Arsenal dropping two points yesterday it looked like being a disappointing weekend and then England pipped SA in THAT amazing match and I've just returned home to see the Liverpool result which means that ours was more like a point gained.

Yeah, great stuff from Liverpool. Some great performances and they really seem to be on the up with the new manager. I think United have now lost enough of their momentum for Arsenal to take the league this season. Especially with the two run-ins.

I think you should read your post again Jah.Banana skin suggests a superiority complex. Wolves are better than that.
