I'm not holding my breath BR. Ticket applications only available to Executive and Season Ticket holders, and that closes at 08:00 BST on Tuesday 10 April. Bound to be oversubscribed and drawn by ballot. I can't see anyone who gets a ticket not wanting to go.

Definitely. I was at White Hart Lane on Saturday and I'm thinking/hoping we've returned to form and that the Arse are going to have a bit of a blip now. Still think Man Utd will win the title though. They have the experience that Man City don't.

Really? Poor deluded fool. Genuinely hope you get turned inside out, as your owner represents everything odious about the modern game.

I thought Chelsea were tired looking and pedestrian - I think they will get murdered by Barca but (weirdly) I hope they don't.*

I fancy this years winners will come from the Madrid v Munich semi, and if Munich get through the final will be a home game for them. If Barca do win it they'll be the first team to win back to back Champions Leagues.

Chelsea indeed looked very tired and pedestrian last night, infact I'm going to find out what the odds are on them losing to Barca, the FA Cup Semi and not qualifying for next years CL! :)

I hear you guys. I do agree Bayern Munich is a good side, but let's face it they haven't played a top quality side in the champions league yet, have they? So form means nothing. With Real on top of La Liga then I can't see BM beating them. Real have far too much firepower. Amazingly Real have scored 100 goals in thirty La Liga games while Barcelona have scored 86.

Real ftw.

ETA: apostrophe

Balotelli really should have walked after the tackle on Song!!! Disgraceful. I'm glad we won and put some daylight between us and Spuds, mind the gap!!!

City were out muscled, out thought, out played and out classed. All that money spent and they are imploding. It;s a toss up between City and Liverpool as to which club has wasted the most money in the transfer markets.

City are improving. Their points haul in the PL at the end of the season will show that. Not sure same can be said of Liverpool. Off the boil since they won the League cup and fortress Anfield is not what it was. I think City's downfall was Mancini's faith in Balotelli who is obviously not used to the concept of a team game. Liverpool's spending of ?35M on Carroll was too big a risk on an unproven player and seems in retrospect like a panic buy after getting so much for Torres. We've got it, lets spend it. King Kenny is not having the effect that was hoped for.

Why United persist with Welbeck I don't know. I never thought Andy Cole was a great footballer but he scored goals. Welbeck doesn't even do that. I will miss Berbi if he leaves the English game simply for his natural ability. Hard to believe he was top scorer last season and didn't get a look in this year.

The best thing about todays game, apart from the result, the 3 points , being above Spuds, again, was watching that nasty little mercenary being subbed off and being taunted with chants of "what a waste of money", still he did say he wanted to win trophies. Just won't be with City. Maybe he'll bugger off to PSG as they are now paying the big bucks.

    • No party is willing to tackle the "elephant in the room" which is the national debt. It is costing the country circa £100 Billion ANNUALLY to service that debt. That is more than the defence and education budgets. That debt burden has to be reduced which in reality means cost cuts. That means cutting back state pensions, index-linked pensions for civil servants and others such as police, NHS etc. It means cutting back on universal credit and cutting the number of people who are claiming benefits.
