Does anyone else find the amount of pushchairs taking up the children?s part of the library extremely annoying? Surely it?s time to try & find an alternative to stepping over hundreds of bugaboos with babies & toddlers.

I left today with my two 2 year olds, as we couldn?t even enjoy a simple visit. I appreciate people have to take the prams but isn?t there somewhere outside that could be used as a buggy area? Something like the one at the butterfly house in the Horniman. It?s so annoying, and unsafe!

Why not mention this to the senior librarian - perhaps they will have a designated section for buggies etc. Or if you child is not sleeping, prams/buggies need to be folded.

Buggies etc were a problem in the Bread of Life Caf? (Christ Church) so they had a separate area set aside for the prams.

It's good news in a way as it's a sign of how popular the children's events are. They don't have a dedicated area but I know the staff do their best to corale them into the far corner behind the lift. Agree best to have a word with staff next time you're in and perhaps use one of their feedback forms to suggest setting up a covered space outside.

On this occasion Mr Rachel Reeves was sorting out the rental agreement.  Ms Reeves was a bit flumoxed with all the grief/demonsing/witch hunts she is getting so forgot to check with her other half.   Not the first or last time this will happen with couples. (That's not having a go at the post above)
    • Hello! I'm looking for a talented, affordable people photographer to do headshots for my start up's website, for 4 people. If you're keen I'd love to see examples of your work please. Many thanks
    • I’d also like to recommend Greg who has done a brilliant job creating an in-built wardrobe, desk and shelving unit in my daughter’s bedroom. It’s transformed the room and I have one very happy daughter as a consequence! He previously did some floating shelves in another bedroom - another excellent job. I can highly recommend.
