Oven cleaning

Recommended Posts

Having been put off by oven cleaners using extremely potent substances to clean my oven, leaving toxic smelling fumes to burn away on departure, I would like to recommend Stefan from Oven Rescue, South East London who uses sweet smelling, no toxic products. He came at extremely short notice, was friendly, prompt, reasonably priced and did an outstandingly thorough job of cleaning my oven and hob. I would highly recommend him. Contact details are 07825 953950 (Stefan).

I?d also like to endorse Oven Rescue South East London. Having reached out to him on Facebook only this morning, Stefan got back to me straight away and booked me in for an appointment on the same day. He did a stellar job and our double oven looks as new! He also replaced the faulty light of the main oven which I?d forgotten was even there. Although I had some initial reservations about paying for a proper oven cleanse, I have been left more than convinced this is a service worth leaving to a professional -see the attached photos for evidence!

    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
